Do I lose memories if I cancel Preservation?
No. Your memories are never deleted due to non-payment. Preservation affects ongoing access, updates, and long-term availability not ownership.
Why is there a one-time purchase and a subscription?
Creating a legacy is a meaningful, intentional act. Preservation covers ongoing care: secure storage, access, and updates. You can choose either or both.
Can I switch from a one-time purchase to Preservation later?
Yes. You can add Preservation at any time.
Can I stop my subscription later?
Yes. You can cancel Preservation at any time from your account settings.
If I start with Preservation, can I upgrade to a one-time legacy?
Yes. Any Preservation payments you’ve made will be credited toward a legacy purchase.
Who owns the memories?
You and your family do. Remembr does not claim ownership of your content.
Can my family change or add to my memories?
No. Only the storyteller can record or approve memories.
Is this meant to replace a loved one?
No. Remembr preserves memories it does not recreate or simulate a person.
What happens after someone passes away?
If Preservation is active, family members can continue accessing approved memories. Remembr never adds new content after death.
